The ISLAND CURRENT FLEET sails from City Island, New York, at Jack's Bait & Tackle (1st Traffic light on right after the City Island Bridge). The ISLAND CURRENT FLEET consists of five boats: ISLAND CURRENT (up to 17 passengers), the 50' ISLAND CURRENT II (up to 42 passengers), the 76' ISLAND CURRENT III (up to 110 passengers), the 65' ISLAND CURRENT IV (up to 67 passengers) and the new custom built 65' ISLAND CURRENT EXPRESS (up to 101 passengers), all of which are United States Coast Guard inspected and licensed fishing boats which sail daily as open/charter boats for either day or night fishing.

Depending on the season, the ISLAND CURRENT FLEET fishing trips will target various species including flounder, fluke, striped bass, bluefish, porgy, blackfish, codfish, and weakfish. In addition, the ISLAND CURRENT FLEET offers night fishing for bluefish/striped bass and sunset fluke trips (refer to fishing schedule). And during the winter months, we will be fishing out of Rhode Island for cod fish! The ISLAND CURRENT FLEET is available for fishing charters, sight-seeing, and cruises both in the Long Island Sound and New York Harbor for all occasions.
