10/18 Big Blues on the Island Current, City Island; NYCaptain Billy was very happy to report last night that the island current slammed the bluefish. All of the fish were caught using Bates such as bunker and mackerel. We were fishing water depth and approximately 50 to 60 feet of water. The current was strong however the fish didn’t seem to mind as it was lock and load.
Tonight Captain Casey will be running the island current II & will be ready to sail at 6:30 PM for another repeat of this fantastic night time fall fishing.
