10/30 Superior Bottom Fishing & Jig Fishing aboard Island Current FleetCaptain Jimmy reported that the island current had a banner day of local bottom fishing for porgies, Seabass, and blackfish. The porgies where the larger variety pushing close to 4 pounds. Benny H. and his party put an amazing catch together and ended the day jig fishing and loading up on blues.
Captain Danny aboard the island current II was knee-deep in the bluefish. He had a full crowd of local City islanders who scored big time. By noon the party was playing catch and release with the blues. Capt. Dan fished piles of blues that was 35 feet stacked off the bottom. Capt. Dan put the call into our other vessel & they were also into the fish on the first drift!
