2/4 Super Bowl Sunday Cod Full Boat Limit Aboard Island Current III…Snug Harbor, RI

Capt. Scott reported a banner day on the codfish grounds. The ride out in the morning was quite nautical in the confused sea. However, once the boat doubled anchored and started seeding the fertile grounds with the cracked shell bait it was GAME ON!  It was a one stop drop day as the conditions became nicer as the day went on. The boat had a FULL BOAT LIMIT OF CODFISH.

Here are some highlights of today’s outing…Capt. Pat, Gene, and Don from the Dauntless combined with 47 keepers ORL, Mike from Jersey City was hi-hook with 19 ORL, Leo Lip from NJ had 18 keepers ORL & pool fish went to Capt. Don with a 21 pounder.
