10/7 Grand-slam aboard ISLAND CURRENT FLEET Well with picturesque conditions and fantastic fall weather anglers came out to take advantage of the amazing fall fishery we have been experiencing in the western Long Island sound. Capt. Chris reports bottom fishing is as good as it gets so take full advantage of the bonus season. Acres of bluefish everywhere both for daytime chunking and jigging.
Last night both Capt. Jimmy and Scott reported similar results with blues being caught up to 15 pounds. Capt. Scotty enthusiastically stated that as the vessel was sliding back into position several anglers eager to wet the lines were already hooked up with multiple fish on. Guys fishing is just that GOOD!
