6/8 Nighttime Striped Bass & Bluefishing Aboard Island Current Fleet…City Island, NY

All three of the island current fleet vessels were out in full force. Fishing continues to remain very strong in the western sound for ferocious bluefish and cow sized striped bass. Fresh bunker all the way! Massive piles of bait locked into Long Island sound making for a tremendous striped bass season. Big fish between the fleet was Benny’s 37 pounder.
