11/15 Striper Slam aboard Island Current II…Capt. Danny putting everyone on the Meat! Captain Danny reported an outstanding day of local diamond jigging for striped bass. The light crowd of anglers didn’t let the torrential rain stop them from having an epic trip both this morning and this afternoon. The morning started off with Captain Danny finding some massive loads of striped bass that were not willing to chew as good as the readings were showing. However, things suddenly changed for the better as all rods were bent over and the fishing was just absolutely fantastic! It was an amazing day Aboard the island current II as the fish would hit the jigs even before they got down to the bottom.
Folks get it in on this good fishing while the striped bass are around the island current fleet will be ready to sail daily at 8 AM with Captain Danny at the helm.
