11/20 Windy, Wild Togging…Full Boat Limit Rhode Island Style aboard Island Current IIICapt. Scott pulled off the dock in a stiff wind with a bunch of eager anglers looking to dig in to the great tog fishing we have been experiencing. Today was an EPIC trip! The 76′ ISLAND CURRENT III with its wide waste line and low profile design sat like a duck in 40 knots of wind. Full Boat Limit for everyone on board and the highlight of today was the QUALITY of the tog. Hardly any shorts and the average fish was around 5 pounds. There was several fish weighed in today in the double digits. Pool winner was Jahn from Queens with an 11.11 pounder and he also had an 11.6 pounder. Hi-hook was Lou with 23 keepers orl and our Brooklyn connection Eddie, Mike, Carlos, and Augie all put on a clinic using exclusively white crabs. Capt. John stayed an extra day after the great trip he had on Saturday and landed a 10.2 mule. Today it really didn’t matter as both greens and whites were being rocked once the lines hit the bottom.
