11/26 Island Current III on the Tog…Snug Harbor RICaptain Scott reported a dangerously close limit of blackfish today for a wonderful group of anglers. Weather conditions were ideal as calm seas and light winds made for a very productive day of blackfish ing in the Rhode Island sound. Some very notable catches today were made. We had Guyanese Vinny from city Island with 23 keepers ORL celebrating his birthday and it was an absolute fantastic day. Also celebrating his birthday was long time regular Andrew who also had some very nice fish come over the rail. Johngo, Bruce & Tommy from Maryland also had their limit and put on quite a display of black fishing talent, representing the Bronx was javier and company also coming home with a full boat limit of blackfish.
We are set to sail Sunday morning 11/27 at 5 AM for Rhode Island blackfishing. There is plenty of room so remember to book online at Islandcurrent.com or please feel free to email or text Captain Chris directly for your reservation. We have been experiencing excellent blackfishing so come on down and get in on this wonderful fishery!
