11/30 Island Current III..Snug Harbor, RI BLACKFISHING 9.8 pound pool winnerCaptain Scott called in to report a much better day of fishing as compared to yesterday. Today’s weather still was by no means ideal but the fish were much more receptive and the size was better. Today the fish definitely seem to have a preference for the white crabs over any other bait that was thrown at them. Some notable catches from today included Mr. Choi from Maryland and his group scored very well with several limits reached. Mr. Choi himself had the honors of taking home today’s pool fish weighing in at 9 lbs. 8 oz.! Matt and his crew from New Jersey also had their limit of tog today using exclusively all white crabs.
Please note there will be no fishing trip scheduled for tomorrow Thursday, December 1.
