11/28 Monday Tog Aboard Island Current III… snug Harbor RICaptain Scott reported a solid day of black fishing even through the strong currents still manage to catch lots of fish. Today pool fish was 10 lbs. 8 oz. caught by regular Bruce Lee who also had high hook for the day and easily had his limit. There were several other limits on board today as well as a nice influx of green cod fish making their way into the by catch. It was quite evident they were gorging on herring as they were spitting them out when hitting the deck. John lefty was out for his second day in a row and had 4 codfish making into his limit catch of blackfish.
We are sailing Tuesday morning 11/29 at 5 AM for blackfish. There is plenty of room so come on out and enjoy this very good black fishing in Rhode Island.
