1/6 Island Current III…Winter Codfish…Double Headers…Snug Harbor, RI This morning we had a light crowd of anglers who enjoyed very SOLID Codfishing today. Besides some snow in the morning the weather was very nice. The boat was able to drift and the results were very successful. Some highlights of today’s jaunt was Nick M from Westchester, NY wIth his limit of Cod and pool fish weighed in at 16.7 pounds. Mr. Kilsong had 8 keepers and Tim & Scott combined for 15 keepers. There was tons of action today and lots of smaller cod as well. Double headers were very common as both bait and jigs were equally successful.
