ISLAND CURRENT III: CODFISHING REPORT 3/20
Today 3/20 the ISLAND CURRENT III had a great bunch of anglers oard. The morning bite was steady with cod coming over the rails with a good amount of tow backs. Then as the day progressed the bite slowed up. It was very tough until late in the afternoon when a late bite developed. Nothing super b a big improvement from the rest of the day. The boat stayed o late and did not blow te whistles until after 4 PM.
High hook of the day went to Barry Capella of Westchester County with 7 keepers. Pool fish was in the teens.
The better action today was on anchor with heavy chumming of fresh skimmer clams.
