12/30 Island Current III Finds Large Codfish Pile…Snug Harbor,RI

Capt. Scott was happy to report a great showing of codfish enthusiast on a bitter cold morning. The morning started off picky with fish coming up on each drift but things dried up quickly. After a few location switches Capt Scott found the massive piles of bait. As in true ISLAND CURRENT FLEET fashion the green monsters were not far behind and they started to chew.  The afternoon fishing was very good with good numbers and quality fish in the 20 pound class. Most of the fish were caught on skimmer clams while at anchor. High hook was Andrew R from Long Island, NY with 16 ORL
