2/17 Winter Codfishing Rhode Island, ISLAND CURRENT III

Capt. Scott reporting in that it was finally nice to get a picturesque day weather wise out on the Cod grounds. The fishing was increasing better then Saturday, 2/16 very slow fishing.

We had a light crowd of anglers Sunday and everyone went home with keeper codfish.  Still not great or good fishing by any means but remarkable improvement from what we have been seeing.

We will continue to sail daily with online booking 100 % necessary in order to assure we have the required number of anglers to get the boat off the dock.  All tickets can be booked online at islandcurrent.com

We are now taking private charters for the 2019 City Island fishing season. Please note our upcoming tradeshow at the Rockland community college will take place February 28th through March 3. Our booth number is booth #303 & we will be offering season passes, discounted private charter rates, and greatly reduced open boat tickets for both city Island and Rhode Island fishing. Please come by and say hello to the crew as we are super excited for a phenomenal 2019 season.
