Today 3/4 both the ISLAND CURRENT II & III reported excellent codfishing. The ISLAND CURRENT II was chartered o privately by Bob M. and had steady action in the evening. A full boat limit was had by all. There were a lot more shorter fish that moved into the area. At the end of the day Ca. Scott had the boat on a pile or larger fish before they headed back to the barn.
Ca. James was at the helm of the ISLAND CURRENT III who also reported another great day of codfishing. The action was tremendous as their were a lot of smaller codfish b most anglers went home with their limits. Some highlights of the day went to Justin H. from CT who attained his limit, Richie M. AKA STUFF was at the rail and limited o, JR from Jack`s Bait & Tackle came up to dig into the action Mark S. and his group in the bow also scored very well.
These fish were caught on fresh skimmers and some guys also did well swinging the 8 oz. hammer jig.
