The Fall Run has officially begun!
After a full week of North East winds we can finally say fall has arrived. Not only does fall bring blackfish to the horizon but we also have received reports of albies blitzing on the surface all over the Western Sound just yesterday evening. We haven’t seen this amount of bait in many many years in our area. It is a pleasant surprise and we hope that it draws in a spectacular fall run. Blue fishing still remains spotty but we hope with all the bait sitting in our waters the fish stick around as they begin their migratory swim to the South. Nevertheless, the bottom fishing for porgies has been amazing. Many anglers reaching their full limits with sea bass and bluefish making up the by-catch. Come out before the temps really drop as we still have many beautiful days ahead of us. Click here to book!
