Capt. Scott reports BLACK FISH CRUSH aboard the Island Current III. FULL BOAT LIMIT by 10am tons of good size tog today. Biggest tog was around 8lbs pounds with lots others in the 4to 7 lb range. High hook was John A from Long Island with 19 keepers (orl) Mark& Dave were not far behind as they played catch and release waiting for the rest of the customer to limit out. With the epic togging in the am, we switched gears and tried for Seabass&Cod. The move didn’t disappoint as we nailed a few Seabass limits and few Cod did make it over the rail. The boat was still back early just in time to grab a late lunch. Looks like more great weather ahead for the next couple days for togging ….
