Captain Chris Upate for the 1st week of July

Captain Chris reports: Monday –Thursdays with high hooks in the upper 20s for the porgy trips. The fishing slowed up once the weekend hit. The sunset trips have been sailing nightly with a lot of action locally around Sands point. We are sailing 6:30 for Bass N Blues with slower action. We have seen the fish on the screens on most trips but they have been rather picky. We are fishing from Hempstead Harbor and as far East as Captains island.
