Capt Scott reported a picture perfect day as the ic3 was dialed in on the cod & sea bass. We are elated to report that the boat had a full limit of beautiful green cod and dangerously close to a sea bass limit. Some notable honors for the days’ safari included Bob & Karen from Albany NY with 24 keepers (orl), Dennis longtime regular from city island with 30 keeper cod (orl), Eric & his buddy from the Island Princess out in Captree NY accounted for 40 keepers (orl), bob w. Took the pool honors with a 21 pound prized cod, and Gary arms from the Bronx had 26 keepers (orl).
The entire day was driftable in perfect conditions. Tons of squid in the area as the fish were savagely chewing and gorging on the bait.
A special shout out to capt. Romeo from flushing, NY who not only caught 29 keepers (orl) but also helped steer home as capt. Scott had to go on the back deck and help assist the boys in filleting and bagging the trophy catch.
We are sailing daily at 5 am for Cod & Sea Bass.
