Codfishing Island Current 3: 2/22
Monday, 2/22 the ISLAND CURRENT 3 had a beaiful shot of codfish in the early AM. The bite lasted for o an hour with fish coming up all around the boat. The rest of the day was a pick until the afternoon when the fish started to chew once again. The second feeding produced mixed sizes of cod from towbacks to 7-10 pound fish. We decided to move to the soh and target some larger fish.
The overall fishing was okay to good. No one limited o b high hook was 8 keepers. Kevin T. & Richie M. from the Bronx had 13 keepers, JR from Jack`s Bait & Tackle in the Bronx had 7, and Ryan C. from URI had 7 keepers.
