Capt. Scott reported a very dismal day of Codfishing for a packed crowd of anglers. The weather was extremely snotty in the morning but did lay down nicely towards the end of the day.
Fished the areas that have been producing in the past with very minimal results. Then we explored further to the south only to get dogged up to the point of no return.
The effort was there by capt. Scott and the crew but things just did not materialize. Maybe with the impending blow forecasted for the next two days the fish had “lock-jaw.” Seemed the bait was not around in the abundance we have seen on a daily basis.
Either way we will be ready to sail this Tuesday at 5 am aboard the 76′ ISLAND CURRENT III.
