Monday, 12/14 capt. Scott reports another enthusiastic day on the Atlantic. We were pleasantly surprised with a great group of Codfishing fanatics.
Here are some of the trophy catches today… All anglers were only retaining their limits.
Mr. Kilsong & his buddy Mu from Jig & Pop had a combined 32 keeper codfish, mr. Young had 13 keepers, Jr. From jacks bait & tackle had 14 keepers, Ryan from the Bronx had 11, & mr. Lau had 16 fish and taking the pool with a plump 16 pounder.
Capt. Scott reported a ferocious bite on the jigs averaging 25-35 keepers per drift. It didn’t take long to limit out the boat with red hot action like that. The same conditions as the days previous with loads of squid and mackerel in the area.
We are NOT sailing on Tuesday due to the gale force wind and rough seas forecasted. We will however, keep a close eye on Wednesday forecast and be ready to sail if need be. So far Thursday’s weather looks very good.
Today, capt jimmy & capt randy transported the 50′ ISLAND CURRENT II up to snug harbor so both boats are ready and will be sailing daily.
