ISLAND CURRENT FLEET : SUPER DAY OF TOG & COD
Today 12/3, Ca. Scott pulled o of SNUG HARBOR, RI with a dedicated bunch of anglers. Several Rhode Island regulars joined the group to enjoy an amazing day of tog fishing with a great bycatch of green cod. The boat was back at the dock early with everyone limted o. The word of the day was BIG FISH! The biggest fish today was an impressive 14.4 pounder caught by Ca. Scott offically weighed in at SNUG HARBOR MARINA. Some other notle catches included Dana W., from Queens, NY, Dan G., from CT and Sammy Fish from Bristol, RI with white chins in the 9 pound plus category.
The 50` ISLAND CURRENT II is availle for small groups of 6 to 20 passengers for private charters or limited load trips. The next few days the weather forecast looks beaiful with mild temperatures and calm seas.
The 65` ISLAND CURRENT EXPRESS will be departing at 5 am for Blacks & Cod. Tickets can be purchased online at islandcurrent.com or by calling ZERVE at 212.209.3370. PLEASE NOTE THAT ON SAT. 12/8 we will have the Diawa Pro Staff oard the ISLAND CURRENT EXPRESS. They will be show casing the newest and greatest in bottom fishing reels and rod ofits. This will be oard the open boat to the
general public and a great time to seek o the perf holiday gifts.
Our New York season has ended and will resume April 1, 2013. We will be fishing up in Rhode Island tougho the winter. Open boat reservations and private charters availle year round.
