GAINT SEABASS 7.3 lbs …Capt. Scott Dec 7th , reported another amazing day of fishing. There was a nice showing of people that turned out this morning to enjoy some really great fishing. The morning started out a lot like yesterday with huge Seabass 2 at time being swung into the boat as quick as you could hit the bottom with some nice large market Cod in the mix. I did see quite a few BlueFish, Porgys and Ling also making there way into the coolers. After a quick limit of Seabass it was off to find the Cod again that we had left yesterday on the chew. We started out in the same area and only saw a few COD on each drift knowing that they couldn’t be to far away we hunted for them and finally it paid off with half the boat limiting out today and quite a few others catching 5-9 Cod we had to call it quits after spending a couple hours of overtime trying to get the boat limit of Cod. The fishing can’t get any better. Vinny from the Bronx was high hook with 16 Cod,32 Seabass, 12 bluefish ( only retaining limit ) his crew of 4 all limits as well. jason Lopez from queens had the pool fish it weighed in at 26.9lbs. We will be ready to set sail on the Island Current lll at 5am. Weather looks great for the morning, we will be Blackfishing tomorrow please call ahead.
