Today, the 76` ISLAND CURRENT III sailed with a light crowd of anglers with Ca. Scott at the helm. The game plan today was to try some different areas. The morning was picky fishing with a few cod and ling being caught. It was not until later in the day that Ca. Scott found the cod. They were feeding savagely on both herring and mackerel. There were several drifts that everyone was “Hooked-Up” and the fish were all green and plump. Pool fish was 16 pounds and and there was at least 6 limits reached, specifically from Joel B. from Maryland and his crew. This was a GREAT showing of cod today more than we have seen over that past te weeks.
