Yesterday, 9/25 both the ISLAND CURRENT II & ISLAND CURRENT IV were on bottom fishing trips for porgies. Both Caains James & Scott reported very good action with pool fish hitting 3 pounds.
On Saturday, morning Ca. Brendan was oard the ISLAND CURRENT III with a private charter with Kevin K. and was heading home by 2 PM with a FULL BOAT limit. Ca. Cis was oard the ISLAND CURRENT with Tom P. and his group from Ossining, NY. The group PULVERIZED the blues all on BAIT. The action was non-stop and with pool fish going 8 pounds.
Sunday, 9/26 te of the boats had BLUEFISH charters and reported that the fishing was EXCELLENT. All the fishing was done on bait and the action has been savage.
SAILING PORGIES EVERYDAY 8 AM and evening fishing every night at 6:30 PM for BLUEFISH & STRIPED BASS.
UPCOMING EAST END PORGIES 5 AM oard the ISLAND CURRENT III, Thurs., 9/30, Wed., 10/13, & Fri., 10/15.
NOTE: OCTOBER 1st starts BLACKFISH. We will have two boats sailing daily at 8 AM. One for BLACKFISH and one for PORGIES.
