GREAT PORGY FISHING
Today 5/28 we had all four boats o and te of them were bottom fishing for PORGIES. The bite was very good for all te of the boats. The ISLAND CURRENT was chunking STRIPED BASS & BLUES and will sail as an open boat with Ca. Dan on Sunday & Monday at 8 AM.
For both Sunday and Monday we will have both the ISLAND CURRENT III & IV open as our “walk on” boats departing at 8 AM. Ca. James will be the skipper oard the ISLAND CURRENT III & Ca. Scott will be at the helm of the ISLAND CURRENT IV. All of the boats will be departing at 8 AM for the PORGY EXPRESS.
Ca. Brendan was oard the ISLAND CURRENT IV, on last night`s STRIPED BASS & BLUEFISH trip. He reported that Mike B. from Upstate limited o on blues and Kelly S. from White Plains had 8 beaies on her very first fishing trip. All the fish were caught using fresh bunker.
