Thursday, 12/13 the codfishing was excellent. We had a light crowd of anglers and the action was excellent. There were many full limits and some anglers were really close to limiting o. Pool fish on Thursday was 14 pounds.
Today 12/14, Ca. Scott pulled o of SNUG HARBOR MARINA, RI with a healthy crowd of codfish anglers. The fishing was way down from the past several trips as the weather played into the fishing. The stiff west wind did not allow us to drift and the a Tino was a slow pick most of the day. Anglers all went home with fish b it was not the solid bite we have been experiencing. Tomorrow`s forecast looks much better and our goal is to sail Sat. & Sun., before the approaching wintery mix exceed for Monday and Tuesday.
The next sailing days will be Sat., & Sun. at 5 AM COD!
