First, we extend our prayers and best wishes to everyone during this #pandemic. Capt. Chris and crew have been working diligently getting the #boats ready and all spruced up. USCG inspection was passed on Monday with flying colors. Boats are in the water and ready to #sail once we get the green light from the governor.
Once we get the go ahead from our governor we will follow the CDC protocols. The obvious ones will be #rail spacing 6 ft distance at the railing. This will mean that our boats will be operating at a LIMITED LOAD. All tickets are going to have to be purchased online at Islandcurrent.com as there is only so much available space even with the multiple boats being ready to sail. Face masks and gloves are going to be required for boarding.
We are navigating in unchartered waters with this COVID-19 and will be following all guidelines from our elected officials.
Our captains and crew anxiously await the governorβs order allowing us to sail and getting back on the water and seeing everyone once again. The recreational boats have been catching lots of #jumbo #porgies and some quality #stripedbass have been caught very locally. Please stayed tuned to all our social media platforms for up to date news on sailing dates. For private charters or specific information you can reach Capt. Chris via cell/text at 917.417.7557. Finally, we want to say that we miss everyone, stay healthy and we canβt wait to be back out on the water doing what we love and what we do best!
Tight lines, Capt. Chris
