Island Current Friday April 15 Report

Our last trip in Rhode Island was this Wednesday and capt. Scott was very happy to report a solid day of spring time cod for light crowd of a bakers dozen.

Here are a few highlights of the day’s line up… Sean from CT had 8; Charlie from Charlestown had 7, and mike and his partner from NJ had 14. Everyone went home with fish which marked an incredible fall, winter, & spring fishing the Rhode Island waters.
On behalf of captain Chris & the entire crew we would like to thank all of our friends and patrons who fished with us. We will be back to Rhode Island early October for TOG.
FYI. We are sailing now from jacks bait and tackle running two trips a day. Tonight marks our first evening trip at 6:30 pm and our daily flounder trips depart daily at 8 am.
Capt. Scott had marked tons of bait brag the boat home from Rhode Island. The most he’s seen in years this early.
We are all excited to start our city island season and hope to see you aboard!
Tight lines,

IC FLEET
