Island Current III Captain Scott Dec 18th BOATLIMIT of COD

The boat was once again charted out today to Marks group from Fish Ark Adventures and after last nights blow there was quite a ground swell left over this morning on the grounds, making the drifts harder to stay on top of the fish. Still with the adverse conditions we ended up still averaging 7-15 keepers a drift ! Today the fish really wanted the FRESH Skimmers, the jigs were less affective today. We ended up getting our boat limit of Cod just before noon and with lots of time left we changed gears and hunted for some Seabass. We did find a few and ended up with a couple limits of Seabass but it was hardly worth the efforts getting dogged up on every drop in the deeper water, There is no trip tomorrow due to weather and watching weather reports closely for sun.
