Monday, 9/5 Daytime Porgies Aboard Island Current III
9/5 Capt. Scott called in to report another very productive day aboard the 76′ ISLAND CURRENT III. The local fishing continues to remain excellent. This morning we were greeted with a nice turnout of anglers excited to get out on the water. The Jack’s Bait & Tackle sandworms were the ticket today as these scup were savagely inhaling the bait.
The bottom fishing catch was primarily porgies with some big sea bass, bluefish and weakfish setting up the by-catch.
We are looking forward to sail tonight at 6:30 pm for bluefish and then again tomorrow morning at 8 am for JUMBO PORGIES. Remember to book online at islandcurrent.com
