Island Current Thursday May 12 Report

Capt James reported a superb day of fishing. We started out on the flounder grounds and it was a good pick of fat flounder to 3lbs. Then we switched gears and decided to go and search for some scup and find them we did with pool winning scup hitting the scale at 3.5lbs. Most fares averaging between 15 to 20 jumbo porgies. There’s was also a couple of limits. Now that the porgies are here we will be sailing for porgies at 8am daily. We can officially now say it’s porgy time!!
