ISLAND CURRENT FLEET UPDATE
It has been a very busy week with basically all the boats getting o during the day and then in evening. We have been very successful in our sunset fluke charters, daytime fluke fishing charters, and our bluefish diamond jigging charters. There are massive amounts of moss bunker in the area and we have been seeing some Striped Bass on the evening trips as well.
The day time porgy fishing has been hit or miss with some very good size fish being caught in the deep water. Pool fish has ranged from 3 to 3 1/2 pounds daily.
Last night, Ca. Pete oard the ISLAND CURRENT II reported some good fluke action until dark and then managed to get in on the action for the blues.
