Capt James reported another very good day with jumbo porgies. We had porgies coming into the boat as soon as we anchored . Then after awhile the bite slowed. We then made a move and found another nice pile of scup and it was game on. Fish were flying into the boat at a feverish pace. Most of the porgies averaged 1.5lb to 2.5lbs . We also had a very strong showing of seabass that were carefully released . Two drops were all that was needed for the day. Many limits were reached. Today’s surprise was a 14lb striper that took the pool. We are sailing 8am daily for porgies.
