Today, February 3, the island current 3 sailed with a light crowd of anglers. Action was very good today will lots of limits. We had some very good friends make their way up to Rhode Island and put together an impressive catch. Cesar from sheepshead bay Brooklyn had 14 orl, capt pelican from the Marylyn jean was runner up with a dozen rl, and capt ray Burke from the MADD gaffer was out with his crew putting together a cod crush. Larger fish are in the area and lots of bait.
We are sailing with our private charter tomorrow. The open boat will be ready to sail on Thursday at 5 am.
