Night Fishing aboard City Island’s FinestCaptain Jimmy was very happy to report very good nighttime blue fishing aboard the island current II. Captain jimmy steamed approximately a half hour from the dock in 50 foot of water and had consistent action the entire evening. The bait of choice was mackerel and most of the fish were caught tight to the bottom anywhere from directly on the bottom to 10 turns off the bottom.
Please note we will continue to sail daily every day and every night our night. Our night trips depart at 6:30 PM targeting bluefish and striped bass. We offer open boat fishing to the general public as well as private charters for corporate events from six passengers all the way up to 110 passengers.
