Local PORGY action continues to be very good. Yesterday, Ca. James reported a solid day of scup fishing oard the ISLAND CURRENT III with the last two drops of the day being the most successful.
Ca. Dan ran the ISLAND CURRENT II yesterday for a private bluefish charter and caught some fish early in the morning up to east on jigs. Later in the day when they switched over to the bait the blues were uncooperative.
The ISLAND CURRENT III, IV, & I are o on the porgy grounds today reporting steady action. We are sailing everyday (RAINE OR SHINE) at 8 AM for JUMBO PORGIES & every evening (RAIN or SHINE) at 6:30 PM for STRIPED BASS & BLUES.
