The weekend porgy fishing has been steady. The areas we have been fishing have been on both sides of the sound. The quailty of the fish have been very good. The baits of choice have been sandworms, clams, & snails. Those casting o into the current and working the rods with a slow lift have produced better results.
We had several fluke charters this past week with good results and have seen a good amount of 4 to 6 pound fluke.
The night fishing for blues & striped bass has been inconsistent with some nights being very good while others very picky. There has been a body of fish to the west attacking the bunker schools creating good action until it gets dark.
