The past two trips Thurs., & Fri., oard the ISLAND CURRENT III have been pretty slow pickings on the cod front. Some nice fish b not a whole lot of cod to go around. There has been some ling mixing into the catch; however, the last two days we have seen less of those as well.
The ISLAND CURRENT II, private charters, with Ca. Brendan at the helm managed some better results with the smaller crowds. Ca. Brendan mentioned that he had quailty COD on Thursday`s trip with a scattering of ling. While, today he had a scattering of cod and lots of ling.
Everyday is different and with the beaiful weather forecast in store we plan on doing some experimentation tomorrow.
