Sunday was an amazing day out on the ocean as the weather just doesn’t get much better. Unfortunately, we rolled the dice and fished way to the east and the fishing was dismal. Best crowd of the fall tog season and the toughest fishing we endured. A scattering of fish showing up on all drops. Doug from NJ, limited out and Rob C. took home the pool honors. We had Steve M. from NJ with a couple and John A. from LI. It was great to see Nicky P. & Mikey L. from Reel Mayheem. The boat had some of the sharpest tog fisherman in the northeast and it was a tough one. At days end we made five drops and it was a not from lack of trying by both the crew and the hard core anglers sticking to the rail and fishing hard until the three whistles.
