ISLAND CURRENT FLEET SATURDAY UPDATE
Today we had all four boats o fishing for Striped Bass, Flounder, & Codfish.
Ca. Paul oard the ISLAND CURRENT was up to the east and reported a steady bite today as most of the fish caught were drifting. In addition to the good number of flounders there was also a nice 20 inch Fluke caught and released as well as a 7 pound blackfish.
Ca. Dan was oard the ISLAND CURRENT IV for Keeny K and crew with the fishing club. The guys did a mix of both Flounders & Striped Bass. Ca. Dan reported a decent shot of flounders in the morning.
Ca. James was oard the ISLAND CURRENT III with Paul D. and his fantastic group of friends. Ca. James headed down to the ocean and reported a slow pick of quailty Striped Bass. There was also a mix of Ling, & Blues.
The ISLAND CURRENT II was charterd o privately for Doug B., and his crew. The action was overall slow b noticly better than some of the past trips. There was also a good number of LING mixing in with the cod to keep the rods bending.
