Today Friday, 2/18 both the ISLAND CURRENT II & III were o on the codfish grounds. Mild temperatures and calm seas brought o a good crowd of anglers.
Ca. James oard the ISLAND CURRENT III reported spacular codfishing. All very early morning bite with “lock & load” action. I spoke with Roger P. from NJ on his ride home who mentioned that his five buddies all limited o. Steve P. from White Plains, NY also had his limit. Pool fish was in the mid-teens.
Ca. Brendan was at the helm of the ISLAND CURRENT II for Dave P. and his private group. Ca. Brendan mentioned that many limits were reached and it was a MAJOR improvement from the day before.
