Today 3/18/10 the ISLAND CURRENT III had a SUPER day of codfishing. The morning bite was slow; however, by around 10 AM the codfish started to growl. The action was very fast as everyone on board limited o. Very nice to see after the past six days we couldn`t fish due to weather.
Most of the fish were caught on skimmers. Some highlights of the day went to Ray Naggy taking the pool with a 16 pounder. Other acknowledgements went to Dan Mulvy and his two friends, and Anthony Dapoilto from Rockland County, NY, Ca. Cis`s good friend Ed Sitino and Charles Brooks from RI all limited o. We were fishing in 1 feet of water.
