Yesterday, Capt. Scott called into report a very good day on the codfish grounds for the private charter for Bruce and Company. There were many codfish limits and the quality of the fish was excellent. Bruce`s son took the pool with a 30 plus pound pool winner. In addition to the good CODFISHING there was a lot of sea bass in the 4 to 4 1/2 pound range, pollock, and ling.
The early report for today, 12/8 is that Capt. Scott was on his second drop and the fishing was steady with good fish coming over the rail. We are set to sail Monday at 5 am so please call to make your reservation.
I would like to thank Capt. Brendan and Dave for transporting the 76` ISLAND CURRENT III on Friday as we gear up for our winter codfish season.
The 65` ISLAND CURRENT EXPRESS will be departing from its Rhode Island berth at 5 AM for monster blackfish. There is plenty of room with no overcrowding.
