Today, 3/20 Ca. Scott navigated tough the “Pea Soup” fog with flat calm seas. The morning bite was ostanding on both the drift and at anchor. Then there was a short lull in early afternoon only to turn on again in the later part of the afternoon. It was a pleasure fishing with a lot of new friends we met at the Providence show a few weeks ago. Ca. Scott mentioned that there was a lot of limits today and the highlights of today`s springtime codfish excursion included the famous “Fish Counter Bob” warming up for his upcoming offshore adventure not only limiting o b also taking the pool with a plump 17 pounder, Freddy from the Bronx, John, Bill, & Andrew from Providence, RI totaling 38 keeper cod (ORL), & Mike R., from CT all had limit catches.
