ISLAND CURRENT FLEET WEEKEND RESULTS
On Saturday, 4/24 we had all te of the ISLAND CURRENT FLEET boats o bottom fishing. Ca. James was at the helm of the ISLAND CURRENT III`s 8 AM open boat trip who targeted blackfish the entire day. There was plenty of action on all drops as there was a lot of shorts to contend with. Pool fish was 7 1/2 pounds. Ca. Brendan was oard the ISLAND CURRENT for Pete R.`s private blackfish charter. There was plenty of action and a great time was had by all. Everyone walked away with some fish in an amazingly beaiful day. Ca. Scotty had the ISLAND CURRENT II for a mixed mag of flounder and blackfish.
The night fishing has been slow with some quality fishing coming up. There is plenty of bunker in the area and things are improving each day.
