12/22 Island Current III…Snug Harbor, RI “Codfish Time”

Capt. Scott reported that today was another solid day of codfishing on the IC Fleet. The morning started off good with lots of fish on the drift chasing mackerel. Once that dried up Capt. Scott made some adjustments and found quailty cod on the bait while anchored up. Pool fish today was 24 pounds. High hook was a combo between Mike, Rocco and Andrew with 26 COD. Not as many Sea Bass today but loads of porgies and even quite a few Whiting making an appearance.

The fishing has been getting better and better. The size of the fish have been amazing!
