1/27 Island Current III…Codfishing Snug Harbor, RI

This morning Capt. Scott was greeted with a lot of familiar faces. The enthusiastic crowd was eager to get in on the phenomenal codfish bite. The morning conditions were fine until very late morning when the wind kicked up. We worked hard and were exactly where we wanted to be but the codfish did not bite. It was a tough day with only a handful of codfish being boated. There were also some Bergalls that came over the rail but it was just not in the cards today. Tomorrow is a new day and we will be ready to do some exploring new terrain.
